Tragic accident in Triscina, in the Trapani area. The 35-year-old woman, Valentina Vanessa Barzi, was originally from Bagheria, who died yesterday afternoon due to the crash against the guardrail of the Mercedes C220 on which she was traveling with her 42-year-old companion. The injured man was taken by ambulance to the Castelvetrano hospital.
Barzi and his partner (FT the initials) were traveling along provincial road 81 when, for reasons yet to be ascertained, their car went off the road and crashed into the metal barriers. The 42-year-old managed to get off the vehicle on his own legs while for the woman, pierced by the guardrail, there was nothing to do. The 118 health workers intervened on the spot with two ambulances, the firefighters, the carabinieri and the municipal police who carried out the surveys to reconstruct the dynamics. According to initial information, there would be no other means involved and therefore the accident could have been caused by the rain that caused the Mercedes to lose grip. The other hypothesis is that the 42-year-old may have accused a sickness at the wheel.
