Accident between car and tractor: one dead, one injured on state road 123, in Campobello di Licata territory

A person died and another was seriously injured in a road accident that occurred at around 6:45 am on the SS123 road in Campobello di Licata. A collision occurred between a tractor and a Fiat Punto. The impact was extremely strong, causing both vehicles to overturn. The 52-year-old tractor driver, who was towing a trailer, was thrown out and died instantly. The car driver, on the other hand, suffered serious injuries and was transferred to the hospital by a helicopter from the 118 emergency service based in Caltanissetta. Firefighters from the Canicattì detachment and the Carabinieri also responded to the scene of the accident.
