A 69-year-old worker, Antonino Burgio, from Raffadali, in the province of Agrigento, died after falling from a scaffolding, from a height of about 4 meters, at the municipal cemetery of Aragona (Ag) where he was working. The man was engaged in restoration work on a funeral chapel when he lost his balance and fell. Despite the intervention of emergency medical services and an air ambulance, his life could not be saved. The carabinieri are now investigating to determine who the man was working for.
