They decided to take a ride on a quad bike on the beach, zooming past the bathers. This happened on the beach of San Leone, in Agrigento, and the incident was reported by the Mareamico association. The scene was captured by many people who were present and feared for their safety.

The incident took place near the third beach on the Viale delle Dune, and as seen in the various videos circulating on social media, two young people, without helmets, were on the quad bike, performing stunts among the beach towels and the people on the shore. At certain moments, they came dangerously close to adults and children.

The Mareamico Agrigento association reported the incident, and the video, which shows the quad bike’s license plate number, was forwarded to the Port Authority. Now, efforts can be made to identify the driver, and if found, they may face a fine.
