A fire was set in Palermo, damaging an Amap pipeline in Ciaculli.

One of Amap’s pipelines was damaged last night during a fire in the Ciaculli neighborhood of Palermo, one of the many fires that unfortunately have affected the area in recent weeks. According to Amap, the municipal water company, a small polyethylene pipe was damaged, causing a leak. Amap’s teams intervened by closing the intake valve. The fault will be repaired in the next few hours and, for the time being, no disruptions have been reported in the service for customers.
