Tomorrow in Palermo, the Asp campers will be at Villa Niscemi for “Sunday Favorite”
Explain me this article in short.
The historic Piazza Umberto I in Palazzo Adriano, immortalized by director Peppuccio Tornatore in the film Nuovo Cinema Paradiso, hosted the itinerant Open day of the Palermo Health Authority. In the health village set up by the operators of the city’s health authority, many users from neighboring centers were welcomed.
The health services performed included cardiovascular prevention visits, with 120 visits in 7 hours, and 91 vaccines administered in a dedicated camper. In the first autumn stop in the province, doctors, nurses, and technicians from the Palermo Health Authority performed a total of 317 services, including pediatric screenings, prevention of sexually transmitted infections, Pap tests, HPV tests, and tests for colon cancer.
Tomorrow, the health authority’s itinerant Open day campers will move to Villa Niscemi, offering a range of free services, including screenings for cervical cancer, colon cancer, sexually transmitted infections, vaccinations, and pediatric screenings. To access these services, people just need to bring their health insurance card and ID.
