Sappe denounces scabies outbreak at Palermo juvenile detention center
The autonomous police union, Sappe, is concerned about the staff of the Penitentiary Police in service at the Malaspina Juvenile Detention Center in Palermo. “Cases of scabies have been reported – says Paolo La Corte, secretary of Sappe – we ask the juvenile justice administration and institutions to activate all the health procedures in place to protect the workers and individuals deprived of their personal freedom in order to limit potential contagion.”
