800 kilos of fireworks seized in Catania garage: Two arrests

In Catania, 800 kilograms of fireworks, containing 370 kilograms of explosive material, were seized by the State Police. Two 36-year-old men were arrested for storing the illegal fireworks in a garage of a five-story building in the San Cristoforo neighborhood. The seized materials included Chinese firework batteries and other explosive materials capable of causing significant destruction. The Explosives Unit of the police intervened to secure the explosive material. The two suspects have been placed in custody at Piazza Lanza prison.
