Giovanni Alberti, a cosmetic doctor from Palermo, has founded an association in memory of his late wife, aiming to help women and children in need. The association, called “Lilli Lorusso-Mano nella Mano,” will be presented during a three-day event dedicated to health and social well-being in Isola delle Femmine and Palermo from November 10th to 12th. The initiative is a tribute to his wife, who was involved in charity work. The association will focus on supporting women in difficult situations, victims of violence, and children. During a cosmetic medicine conference at the Saracen Sands Hotel & Congress Centre, initiatives focusing on social and health well-being will be presented. The event will be presided over by Eliana Lanza of Catania, with the honorary president of the conference being the rector of the University of Palermo, Massimo Midiri. The organization is being handled by the Libera Accademia di Medicina Biologica. In addition to the medical aspects, an open event for the public will be held on November 12th at the Hotel Wagner in Palermo, aimed at clarifying the themes of cosmetic medicine. Alberti emphasizes that the goal of cosmetic medicine is to promote the health of individuals, both physically and mentally.
