66-year-old man found dead in his kitchen, believed to have been dead for at least 10 days

Calogero Fratantoni, a 66-year-old man from Menfi (Agrigento), was found dead in the kitchen of his home on Blandina Street. He had been unwell for at least 10-12 days. The police, assisted by the firefighters who broke down the apartment door, were called in by the mayor, Vito Clemente, as the man had not been seen for several days.
