45 migrants rescued by the NGO Mare Go land in Pozzallo

45 migrants have arrived and already disembarked in Pozzallo, 43 adult men and two unaccompanied minors, one Pakistani and the other Bangladeshi, who were rescued by the NGO Mare Go 90 miles off the coast of Ragusa.

“All – says the mayor of Pozzallo, Roberto Ammatuna – are in fair health conditions, except for the usual scabies infection which, however, does not cause concern. The migrants have been transported and accommodated in the port area hotspot.”
