44-year-old Ragusa woman jailed after years of thefts, including skipping payment at B&B

The Carabinieri of Ragusa executed an arrest warrant issued by the Court of Ragusa against a forty-four-year-old woman from Ragusa. The measure was carried out on Thursday and stems from the results of investigations conducted by the military, who identified the woman as responsible for numerous thefts that occurred between 2016 and 2021 throughout the Iblean province. Recently, she had also been involved in other crimes, including fraud, identity theft, and a well-known incident where she didn’t pay for her stay at a B&B in Ragusa Ibla. Additionally, she was found in possession of a small amount of hashish at the time of her arrest, and she was reported to the relevant administrative authority before being escorted to the Catania prison, where she will serve a six-year sentence.
