43 migrants land in Lampedusa, originating from Tunisia

They are originally from Togo, Mali, Gambia and Cameroon, and 43 of them arrived in Lampedusa after the 8-meter boat, which had sailed from Sfax in Tunisia, was rescued by a coast guard patrol boat. The group, who claimed to have paid 450 euros each for the crossing, was transferred and the boat left adrift. They were all taken to the hotspot where, in the morning, there was only one guest. In recent weeks, most of the migrants who have arrived on the largest of the Pelagie Islands have departed from Libya.
