Erice, scontro tra un'auto e uno scooter: un quarantenne in prognosi riservata

Road accident in San Cusumano district in Erice. In the impact involving a car and a scooter, a forty-year-old man was seriously injured. The collision occurred between a Ford Focus driven by a woman and a T-Max scooter on which the man was traveling.

The man was thrown from the saddle and landed violently on the asphalt: despite wearing a helmet, he suffered serious injuries all over his body and was urgently transported to the hospital. When the alarm was raised, the 118 emergency services arrived on the scene and immediately transferred the injured man with a red code to the Sant’antonio Abate hospital in Trapani: he was hospitalized with a reserved prognosis.

The driver, on the other hand, suffered only minor injuries. The municipal police were also on the scene of the accident, closing the road section to conduct investigations and reconstruct the dynamics. Following the collision, there were heavy traffic slowdowns, and the circulation of vehicles returned to normal only after the vehicles were removed from the roadway.
