28-year-old Tunisian killed in Caltabellotta: suspicion of being beaten by several people

The body of a 28-year-old Tunisian man was found in Caltabellotta, a town near Sciacca, in the province of Agrigento. The body was found on the outskirts of the town, near the sports field. The Carabinieri are conducting investigations coordinated by the public prosecutor’s office in Sciacca. It is currently suspected that the victim was attacked by one or more people and that the death was caused by the beatings. The body was found a few meters from an illegal camp of North Africans who are working in the olive harvest. Investigators are working to identify the perpetrator of the attack.
