Fatal accident on state road 187 for Buseto Palizzolo, at the gas station. A blue Peugeot 3008 driven by a 22-year-old young man from Palermo, Tommaso Di Giacomo, crashed into a wall.
From a preliminary investigation, the young man in the car first collided with a Panda driven by a woman coming from a side street, then the Peugeot carrying the victim hit a wall and then a light pole. In the impact, the young man died. The rescuers immediately alerted could do nothing.
Two ambulances from the 118 arrived on the scene: the staff tried in vain to save the young man’s life who died shortly after. Also present at the scene were firefighters and carabinieri. The dynamics are still to be determined.
