A 22-year-old man, who was on house arrest, has been accused of selling drugs from his home by the carabinieri of the Giarre station. He was arrested for drug trafficking after 54 grams of marijuana, already divided into doses, and 1,300 euros believed to be proceeds from the illicit activity were found and seized in his home. The search was conducted after the carabinieri stopped a minor who had just left the house after buying a dose of marijuana. The judge validated the arrest and ordered the 22-year-old to remain on house arrest.
