21-year-old arrested for stealing copper cables in Palazzolo Acreide

Carabinieri from the stations of Palazzolo Acreide and Cassaro arrested a twenty-year-old for aggravated theft. After causing a short circuit by isolating an entire neighborhood from power supply, the man, with the help of a ladder, removed the copper channels from the wall where the municipal public lighting cables are housed, but was caught by the military who arrested him. After the formalities, the young man was placed on house arrest at his residence.
