14-year-old injured as minicar crashes into wall in San Giovanni La Punta

A 14-year-old girl from Scordia lost control of her mini car and crashed into a wall on via delle Sciare in San Giovanni La Punta, resulting in a violent impact that also damaged a gas pipeline. The girl was taken to San Marco hospital in Catania for evaluation of her injuries. Firefighters secured the area and began the process of removing the car, while municipal police conducted investigations to determine the cause of the accident. Traffic in the area was heavily affected, but returned to normal after police completed their inspections.
