13 precautionary measures for extortion at Pozzallo Cemetery and drug trafficking

Police raid against a gang of extortionists and drug traffickers in Pozzallo. Restrictive measures have been taken against 13 people held responsible for extortion in the construction sector within the Pozzallo cemetery, as well as for the possession and distribution of large quantities of drugs. Six of the suspects have been placed in pre-trial detention, while the other seven have been placed under house arrest. The investigation is led by the Modica police with the coordination of the Ragusa Public Prosecutor’s Office. Further details will be provided in a press conference at 11 am at the Ragusa provincial carabinieri headquarters.
