12 people charged after huge fight in Canicattì

In Piazza Dante in Canicattì, for the next 2 or 3 years, no one will be allowed to set foot. All the young people who have been identified and reported, after the huge brawl on the night of October 28th-29th, have been hit with a Daspo (Dacur). The most recent denunciations (12 in total) were formalized by the police of the Canicattì police station yesterday. Three young men from Favara have gotten into trouble after being identified in recent days. They were in town for a different Saturday night in front of the nightlife venues in Canicattì and were involved in the brawl. Police footage showed that a female “audience” participated in inciting the brawl with applause and screams.
