114 migrants arrived in Lampedusa on two boats

Another 114 migrants, who were on two boats rescued by the port authorities, have arrived in Lampedusa. Since midnight, a total of 205 people have landed on the island. On the second-to-last boat rescued today, there were 60 Sudanese, Eritreans, Syrians, and Egyptians who reported having set sail from Zuara in Libya, paying $3,000 each. The last boat carried 54 people from Sudan, Pakistan, Syria, Egypt, and Bangladesh, also departing from the same Libyan port. All of them have been taken to the Imbriacola hotspot.
