11 investigated for the massive brawl in San Leone: 7 are minors
The investigations into the massive brawl that occurred on the night between September 3 and 4, 2022 at the entrance of the tourist marina of San Leone, in Agrigento, have concluded. Thirteen months later, the prosecutor for minors is set to request the trial of seven minors, aged between 14 and 17 and residing in Agrigento and Favara, and four identified adults. The charges for all 11 suspects are related to the brawl. The confrontation that night involved at least a dozen teenagers over trivial reasons, with punches, slaps, and kicks exchanged. The incident was initially believed to be an attack on a group, but a viral video led to the identification of three participants, one of whom admitted to being part of a larger group. Now, after 13 months, the investigations by the prosecutors of Agrigento and the one for minors have identified eleven alleged participants in the brawl, with seven of them concluding investigations and the prosecutors preparing to request trial.
