Groups from yesterday and today, artists and bands that have written the history of music, come together to continue offering suggestive emotions: here is the great event “History of Music” that involves three generations with a series of events including workshops, meetings, solidarity activities, and maxi concerts.

The initiative is organized by the Palladium Academy and ideated and directed by Pino Minio. Among the objectives are the enhancement and promotion of the creativity of young artists and those who have written the musical history of Agrigento and Sicily. Engaging workshops called “The music that revolves around” are hosted at the Sport Village in Favara where artists, young people, and enthusiasts can discuss major themes starting from art and musical culture. The final event “History of Music” will last for two intense days on 23 and 24 March with an exciting marathon of meetings and evening concerts in Favara with the participation of historic groups that have made the history of music in the province of Agrigento, as well as young artists and many guests.

The general director of the Academy, Pino Minio, explains that “the initiatives aim to create a meeting of three generations and a comparison to share passions, ideas, develop the culture of the supportive community, and strengthen social ties in an era where virtual and social relationships are increasingly important”. Minio then adds: “The culture of volunteering will also be developed, especially among the young protagonists of the event, with initiatives and paths involving the elderly and people in conditions of fragility and disadvantage”.
